Returning home was more like a two day event, especially where my hair was concerned. We had a full day, night, and morning ahead of us you see- early morning attending touristy attractions and tours (much wind and non hair friendly weather included), followed by dinner and drinks, more windy attractions, and then the airport for the midnight flight.
It would be about seven in the morning or so when we returned home- so that calls for a lot of time for a style to hold through. I began with my hair down, but as the humidity increased so did my hair.

And so I needed my hair secure and out of the way, but still cute of course. I need something to keep me up and ready to go; and glamorous hair always does just the trick.
I didn’t want anything fussy or that would easily loosen, so I sectioned my hair into three parts and twisted them tightly finishing them off with some pins. It did just the thing for me and helped keep me alert since the style is quite light compared to my otherwise heavy hair.

It is neat and clean from the front which I think is also quite nice. No fuss and yet still very elegant and pretty. It only took a moment too which is great- easy and quick and then bam ready to go!

This was a moment of opportunity to check and see how it would look, if you will. I had my hair in a french twist and a mass of curls to the side (from my previous post of a curly up do).
Simplicity works best when it comes to such bold accessories. I think a clean twist clasped by the feather accessory would look absolutely beautiful- almost like a vintage hat.

For the bottom half, normally I would do something of a french twist and blend it into the top portion, but instead and seeing as I am feeling playful, I break it up into portions and twist them all up together for this fun little look. Smooth on top, swirls on the bottom and a bow to meet them for that extra feminine touch.
Play with it as you like and make it your own. It is quite simple to do and takes little time. I think this will add a whole new feel to any outfit as well.

I did it quickly and so it is a bit messy, but I think it works rather well that way with this style. The “controlled mess” look. Some pins keep it in place and then I decided to top it off with a black bow. Just a little something more for that feminine touch.

Hair styles should never be limited, and the runway is constantly revealing new and playful ideas. A classic French twist or chignon is always an elegant statement, but it doesn’t have to stop there.
Take this look for example; some messy twists and braids collected into a bun in the back, then dressed up with some ribbons, bows, or headbands. I decided to do my own little twist with it this afternoon. It takes only a moment and adds a pretty touch to any outfit, no matter how simple.
A bright red ribbon to top off a twist of braids and my simple black dress has much added style for anything that my happen in my day.

Hair with attitude and a statement bold and wild or delicate and chic. If you have Medium to Long hair there is no excuse to not have a little fun. Rut never more if ever you were in one-the girls with the short hair can make it look so easy to come up with a spunky or classy style; its time to take notice of your own.
Never be afraid to experiment a little here and there. Maybe you don’t know what your doing when you go into it, but that doesn’t mean the results can’t be amazing. Some of my best creations were purely accidental messing around.
The classics are constantly reinventing themselves into new and exciting forms. Many of the time thanks to make up as seen in the fashion shows. Quite dramatic and perhaps not for actual wear, take them as creative influences to create a style you can use for yourself.
