Beauty, All Class And All American

How lovely is she; I must say I am quite pleased to see a conservative woman take such a grand role in our society. I honestly had no intentions of getting into politics here (as messy as it can leave things), however I cannot avoid mentioning recognition especially after today. It is only appropriate that I do so.

Alaska’s Gov. Sarah Palin is making history and it is something I would love to see go through all the way. She has a great voice of reason and determination like no other. And what a wonderful family, too- she is all class and everything I like to see. Bravo. Isn’t she gorgeous, too? Well spoken and an intelligent lady, McCain’s choice in a Vice President is quite wise.

history can be good and bad. In this case Mc Cain plays the gender card from the bottom of the deck to draw the Hillary crowd. lowering the bar on qualifications even further

Doesn’t get any lower than a liberal for me; and while many wish to play the race card, it amuses me that someone running for president with no executive experience dares to claim qualification. A Governor makes executive decisions, and she is someone I am pleased to see running for second in command.

Exactly right, Jim. It’s just like Obama playing the race card when he picked Biden. What a sellout. Why would you pick your total opposite to balance out the card? How does a Senator who’s been in office since pre-Watergate days help you when you’re supposedly all about change? Why would someone do THAT?? Not to cover for a weakness, that’s for sure! If you’re running for office you should pick someone exactly like yourself. He’s just pandering to white people who like actual political experience the way McCain is pandering to women who think a woman can hold an executive office.

Too many secrets, too many lies. She’s under investigation by the justice department of her own state, has close ties with the secessionist driven Alaskan Indepndencee Party, doesn’t even understand the role of VP (her own confession) and is thrown on a ticket to try to make McCain look younger, and in tune with women voters. Pandering is a generous term. -And no, I’m not voting for Obama, either. However, McCain just lost any chance I’ll EVER vote Republican.

McCain is not someone I would ever use to describe a Republican or the party as a whole; being a conservative I have found all choices this year to lean far to the left. More left than even meets the left’s low standards.

It is the lesser of two evils, and being American I will go for as close to conservatism as possible. Obama terrifies me and the media’s free pass at him is laughable. No executive experience and only minimal experience in a crowd of votes. Lovely. His high cost promises are just as horrifying. I prefer to be responsible for myself. We need another Reagan. Maybe this election year will lead to a better one the next time around.

McCain isn’t pandering to the left, although he will surely get a few PUMA votes…remember if BO wins in 08 then Hillary can’t run in 12.

No, he is shoring up the Republican base who thinks he’s pretty much a Democrat by picking a family-oriented, gun-toting babe with executive experience. Duh.

I love how the left thinks the Palin pick is about them.

Lies and secrets? Uh, I’ll just leave the Clinton comments out of this I guess. McCain knew about the pregnant daughter beforehand (and remember the Obama-mama had him when she was 18….so possibly knocked up at 17 too) Can anyone tell me “anything” at all about Obama, save the fact he is a great speaker? No one knows anything about him. There wasn’t one “I know and support and have worked with this guy” speech at the DNC the way Kerry and Gore had. Obamaessiah gets a free pass from the media who picked him in 2004 after his DNC speech. No mention of Ayers, Wright, etc. He started serving in the Senate in Jan 2005 (100 days a year is all they put in if that–and it’s just unanimous votes usually) and started running for POTUS in Jan. 2007. No real experience at all.

The left is making a grave error in attacking Palin and her kids and running their campaign against Bush instead of against McCain…ya hate Bush…we get it… but he aint running this time. Calling McCain McSame or McBush just clouds the current issues. Republicans made the same mistake in 92 when they railed against Hill and not Bill.
